Hello Marcel,

to put it in short words. Up to now we have no confirmation from Slim if
he still sticks to PP-TN. Even PP-TN has difficulties to contact him at
the moment.

And the email that has been sent out yesterday evening is awaiting its
answer.

I hope this clarifies our reluctance to state out him beeing a pirate.

Thank you for your clarification. I don't know how it works in Tunisia,
but if you become a member of the PP-CZ, you're basically a member until
you resign from your membership, your membership expires, or your
membership is canceled by the party. I.e. you don't have to confirm
everyday that you're still a member. That means that if he didn't
announced any change, the presumption is that he's still a member.

In other words, do we have a reason to presume that he has been detained
as a PP-TN member while not being a PP-TN member few days after setting
free?

Slim Amamou, bývalý vůdce Pirátská strana v Tunisku, nemůže patřit do politické strany poté, co byl instalován jako ministr.

Z čehož vyplývá, že bychom v našich výstupech měli vše upřesnt, že Slim Amamou je vůdce neoficiální Pirátské strany.
Mě to bylo od začátku divné, že by v Tunisku byli Piráti legápní

Ale my jsme nikde netvrdili, že je to oficiální politická strana. Kromě toho, že tam mají takové divné zákony (což není až tak zarážející), nechápu tu hysterii. On není členem politické strany, protože PP-TN politickou stranou není. Nemá tudíž důvod z něčeho vystupovat.

In the tunisian constitution it's written that a political party cannot be
created if it has foreign interests.

Thus making the PPTN impossible to make official, i guess Slim could not be
part of the government and of clandestine party at the same time... But
that's not a new law, so maybe there is something I missed...

IMO you confuse foreign interests with foreign friends.

A party cannot be created ad-hoc to drive Tunisia from the outside, I
can even defend it, but PPI doesn't drive it's members, it's just a
meeting point to share and work together, I wouldn't mind about this
law, as it's clear that PP-Tunisia, as any other Pirate Party is 100%
independent from it's brother-Parties
