Team delegetation retreat to set up priorities of European Pirates delegation, find a common strategy, mutual agreement on a common approach and to create trust within team
retreat to be organized preferably with overnight stay, close-by Brussels to avoid long travels; Thu-Fri
Admin team to find a date and take care of organisation
Policy advisors to discuss contents/programme of retreat.

2. Visitors groups

Admin team will plan and schedule activities with MEPs (block calendar in advance)
MEPs to respect blocked appointments
Spontaneous or pro-longed visits to be avoided due to resulting in chaos
Admin team will discuss internally how to organise visitor groups in the future and will update delegation with a follow-up email.

Delegation will focus on:
Brexit (Implementation and financing of the EU general budget in 2020 in relation to the UK's withdrawal from the EU, )
Syria (The Turkish military operation in northeast Syria and its consequences)

North Macedonia and Albania (Opening accession negotiations with North Macedonia and Albania)
Honeybees (Objection pursuant to Rule 112: Assessment of the impact of plant protection products on honeybees)

The delegation of European Pirates in the EP considers the space for offices in the Pirate Center in Prague not fully fit for the purposes of their local office. Especially the shared space for organization of events is not sufficiently separated from the frequently used hallway.

The European Pirates delegation in the EP orders the head of office to propose alternatives, with the preference of the following properties:
separated meeting room and offices
space for organizing events
location in proximity to the Pirate Center in Prague 2
1-2 parking spaces
without any construction works financed from the official budgets of the MEPs

1. (Patrick) Correction of votes and voting lists policy
correction of votes (correction of voting record) - creating rule for the delegation when it should be possible to change the vote retrospectively
correcting votes goes against the Pirate transparency
Patrick - this tool should be used only exceptionally - when there was mechanical mistake
the correction of votes is visible in the PDF transcription published by the EP
Zuzana should make sure that this is really transparent even in case the vote is changed immediately after the vote took place
check the Delegations’s last plenary votes

2. Voting recommendations
setting up rules of procedure for diverting from Group’s voting recommendations
when there is substantial grounds (when the Pirate policy makes it necessary) to deviate from the Group’s recommendation it is justifiable to differ
APAs must consider the Pirate program when creating the VLs, not just give their own opinion

The delegation of the European Pirates in the European Parliament agrees to paying the Local assistants hired by the grouping of Czech Pirates bonuses that correspond with 100% of the assistant’s performance, according to their contracts.

−First block to focus on staff matters and ways of working as a delegation
−Second half dedicated to identifying common policy goals and ways of achieving them
−Next week MEPs to approve final programme prepared by Petra

2.Mobile devices for APAs - purchase of work phones to be covered by GEA. No limit of brand or OS at the moment, will be developed at later stage, also for financial limits.

3.Paid advertisements in newspapers - can be covered by GEA, to be further discussed with Stepan.
