The PPI board is, however, accountable to the PPI members, represented by
the international coordinators subscribed to the pp-leaders mailing list,
and not to the subscribers of the pp-int.general ML or to the
FB/Twitter/G+ update readers (for example I do not read any of these
channels). I do not object to sending the invitations to other channels
too and I appreciate this level of transparency. However, while being
transparent where it's a nice bonus, you miss being transparent where
you're required to.
I do not think that one e-mail per two weeks would kill the pp-leaders
list, which is intended for announcements (and the invitation _is_ an
announcement). Please, reconsider sending the invitation to the pp-leaders
list. Thank you!
