dostal jsem následující e-mail od Justuse z Juliiny kanceláře. Myslím, že pár lidí se najde v rámci ZO, ale rád bych podchytil co nejvíc členů PP-CZ. Pomůžete mi?
Dear Mikulas,
How are you, how is life? I am doing an internship at Julia's office right now, and loving it
in connection to that work I have a small favour to ask you:
We (Julia's office team) plan a series of events from 10th (Thu) to 14th (Sun) December. Starting with two panel discussions in the European Parliament, organized together with Jill Evans (EFA) on the issue of geoblocking and its effects on cultural-linguistic minorities on Thursday. From Friday to Sunday, we are organizing several events and workshops on how the EU institutions work, activism and lobbying for change.
The idea is to use these workshops also in order to kickstart activist groups who see Julia as their direct representative in the EU. The "Team Julia" groups will allow people to support Julia's work and will give them a way of becoming active (again). Working on issues at EU level, they have the potential of having huge impact, possibly bigger than solely at national or regional level.
We are reaching out to you because we would like you to support us finding people other than the list of usual suspects in Czechia (or from elsewhere) that would be a good fit to invite. We are specifically looking for people that like activism, care deeply about one or more of the issues Julia works on (mainly, but among others: copyright reform, the digital single market, and geoblocking), and are willing to work across borders on these issues.
We would of course gladly welcome you to participate in the event yourself, if you can find the time!
Cheers,
Justus
