Lately, one online site helping individuals providing the opportunity for such scrutiny, Wikileaks, have been exposed to condemning by media all over the world because of a preliminary investigation concerning one of the people involved in the project. [Does not make a statement for or against guilt, does not mention any names, and does not condemn the system of justice but people who distort it]

Media, acting as a fourth system of justice for society, should not assume the responsibility of convicting people of crimes, regardless of how severe, before a preliminary investigation and a fair trial in a court of justice have passed. This is the foundation of western justice philosophy, and the direct or indirect threats and the persecution against people involved in this particular case is a direct consequence of the failure of media to appreciate and preserve fair trials. [All actors have been exposed to threats in this case - not just Julian but also the plaintiff - it is just as bad to distort justice by convicting defendants in advance as it is convicting the plaintiffs] ??? translation question, isn't defendants and accouser? !!! plaintiff, I think.

Co se týče obou tiskových zpráv, tak bych vydal něco vlastního, tyhle jsou fakt špatné. V první není uvedeno, co se stalo a proč děláme zrcátka, druhá se zase zabývá Assangem a obviněními, které proti němu byly vzneseny, což by také nemělo být téma.

This appeal is already public? If not, when it's planned to be? I'm asking
because we need to decide when we announce our WL mirror. Originally, we
planned to announce it on a press conference in the second half of the
next week. However, if you plan to make this appeal public earlier,
there's no point in waiting with announcing the mirror, I guess, because
if there are 50 other mirrors already, there's nothing really attractive
for journalists on "just another mirror" to come to a press conference.

So, what's the plan?

Not by us pirates. This seems to be an original request from wikileaks.
That's would we discovered so far.

Just be patient, there seems to be an very interesting solution
presented in the meeting tomorrow evening.

Please ship those finalized documents to me (link would be sufficient)
until 05.00 p.m. (CET). These documents will become a vital part of the
meeting.

Funguje, ale doufám, že to nikdo neví. Byl bych rád, abychom to zveřejnili, až se RP dohodne, že to zveřejníme. A ne že to někdo vypálí ven, protože si myslí, že je to dobrej nápad. Je pochopitelné, že různí lidé mohou mít různý názor, ale pokud si u takhle důležitých kauz bude každý dělat, co chce, tak to bude stát za bačkoru, i když bude jeho názor skutečně ten nejlepší, protože takhle se nedá spolupracovat.

Broochu, díky, žes to stáhl, ale byl bych klidnější, kdybys zatím proved chmod a-x wikileaks, když už ten link jednou visel veřejně.

budeš na tý Mumble konferenci?

Nijak zvlášť se do toho nehrnu a ani nemůžu 100% garantovat, že tam budu, protože mám službu (on-call) a když mi bude někdo volat, tak to má přednost. Ale alespoň 1 by tam od nás měl být. Pokud nebude zbytí, tak tam ale v rámci možností půjdu.

Myslim, ze ta telekonference bude zasadni.

Ja bych hlavne chtel info, jestli budeme mirrorovat a nebo jenom "smerovat" na WL, coz se asi vyresi zejtra.
